There is always a strong sense of pride and ownership when I see someone wearing Ash City products that I helped create. To be involved in the process of a garment's transformation from a concept to a physical finished product is truly remarkable. As a Product Developer, I have the opportunity to learn from experts in the field, and am constantly improving my skills. The ability to work with many different people while multi-tasking overlapping responsibilities is crucial to my job. Each garment created also contributes to the overall image of Ash City. Continuity throughout our product line is a must and we carefully plan when creating new items as they have direct correlation on how our customers view us as a company.

As the Quality Control Supervisor at Ash City, I have the vast responsibility of controlling the quality of our products, ensuring they remain top notch and are suitable to meet our customer's needs. We strive to be the best in the industry and will always stand behind our products. Being an important part of the Ash City team and providing top quality products to our customers is very rewarding. There is always an opportunity to acquire new knowledge with new and upcoming technology. It is up to my team and I to achieve and maintain high quality standards for over 400 styles. Ted – Information Technology Manager

In this day and age it is next to impossible to survive in the industry without the proper technology. We use it in every aspect of the company. From using email and fax servers to receive orders to checking inventory levels with a click of the mouse, and providing live and timely customer service, Ash City takes every step possible to stay on top of technological advances that can improve our business processes and simplify the experience for our customers. As the Information Technology Manager, I am encouraged to learn the latest technology. I feel that supporting and providing solutions to our internal users effectively has a direct impact on our overall service level to our customers and business partners. I am also proud to have helped with the implementation of Ash City's new energy-efficient, cost-effective data centre in partnership with IBM.

Georgeta – Director, Sourcing and Production

It's not what you achieve, it's what you overcome, and that's what defines your career at Ash City. As the Import Sourcing and Production Manager, my work encompasses managing and providing strategic direction in the areas of sourcing and costing. This includes monitoring the flow of garment costing to receipt of product, lab testing, prototypes, and approval of samples as well as tracking of bulk production. There is nothing more rewarding than successfully researching and developing a sourcing strategy that delivers a competitive advantage in the key areas of cost, quality, technology, delivery and achievement of internal goals and external customer satisfaction. The unique part of this job is the need to maintain an intimate knowledge of garment sources and stay abreast of global textile industry trends, technological advancements, market conditions, prices and trade regulations, just to name a few. I am proud to say that during my career with Ash City I've missed very few shots, I've lost few games, I've failed few times and that is why I succeed. My best advice is "Choose a career you love, give it your all, seize your opportunities, and be a member of the team."

Angela – Marketing Services Manager

Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, I am responsible for activities related to marketing Ash City's brand, products and services through tradeshows, advertising, special events and other industry associations. In my day to day activities, I enjoy the diversity of working with our customers, our sales force and our vendors in the industry to generate brand awareness. The most fulfilling part of the job is getting out and meeting distributors face to face and listening to feedback to help provide the tools they need to sell our product to their clients. The interesting part of my role is that I am part of a dynamic team. The combined efforts and skills of our talented and creative team are used to plan, create and execute all of Ash City's media, trade shows & events in the US and Canada. The goal of the Marketing Services Manager is to communicate the value of Ash City to our customers as their corporate apparel partner. I feel this contributes well to the overall goals of the company. We want to provide a ONE source destination and partnership for distributors where they can expect quality and value in our product.
